Akron, OH

Hike it Baby Akron is located in Northeast Ohio. The branch hikes in and around Akron, Canton, Kent, Hudson, and surrounding cities. We are surrounded by amazing Metro Parks (Summit, Stark, Portage counties), as well as State Parks, and Ohio’s only National Park, Cuyahoga Valley NP. As a branch we often do a mix of trail hikes and park and plays. We hike year-round, but tend to slow down December-March. However, there are a few indoor nature areas that we love: FA Sieberling Nature Realm, Liberty Park Nature Center, and Beech Creek gardens.

Our sister branch to the north, HIB Cleveland, overlaps our geographical area as well, providing even more amazing hiking opportunities for our community.
