Kelly Webster

Hi!  I am Mom to Owen (4) and Rosie (17m).  I am originally from Richmond, VA and have lived all over the state.  I went to school at Virginia Tech and spent 10 years in Blacksburg.  This is where I met my husband, who took me on my first hike, and developed a love for the outdoors.  We moved to Newport News in 2014 and I read about Hike it Baby in a local magazine at our library in Hampton Roads.  I took Owen on his first hike at 9 months old, began participating in challenges, and hosting hikes with this branch.  We moved to Charlottesville in 2016 and I quickly connected with the existing branch here.  Hike it Baby really helped me get to know an area as a new resident (twice!) and connect with others who also enjoy the outdoors.  We are so grateful for this community and I am happy to be a part of it!
